Brazilian Stylist is Coming and We need Curly Hair Models!

We’re taking an advanced curly styling and cutting technique class at DryLand Salon with the amazing Brazilian Stylist, Andrea Mororo! We’re flying her in from LA and Hawaii, And we’re going to need Curly Hair Models!!!

Now, let’s talk details….

We need two curly hair models that are willing to come in on Tuesday, May 3rd during the day. The times are either 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm, and you must stay for the full 2 hours. You must also be willing to sign a model release and get a gorgeous cut from Mororo while she teaches her techniques.

If you are available on May 3rd during those times above, please send a picture of your hair and your preferred time slot to info@drylandsalon.com .

Accepting Bitcoin in our Shop

If you want to pay in Bitcoin at our salon for your services and products, that’s easy! Just be ready with your smartcoin wallet and let the front desk know you would like to pay in Bitcoin. They will tell you the total amount in dollars, we’ll get an instantaneous value in bitcoin and some computer wizardry will generate a QR code for you to scan with your wallet and pay that amount!

Depending on the type of wallet you have, you’ll be shown the “Mining Fees” associated with the transaction. These fluctuate based on network usage.

We are still working out the details of the “Mining fees,” so to help offset that, we are offering a $3USD discount anytime you pay in Bitcoin!

Unfortunately we are not yet ready to accept other crypto currencies, but we’ll get there.

Also, be aware that some exchanges like Coinbase start you with a “custodial” account and not a full bitcoin wallet! They just hold onto your coins and don’t actually give you the ability to spend them, but it’s easy to transfer from them to a wallet of your own that you control. They also provide a “coinbase wallet.”

The Works

You’ve been scrolling through Instagram and finding the most amazing hair, and you have a dream in your heart that you could walk out of a salon feeling amazing, a light breeze blows your newly fabulous hair, and photographers jump out of the bushes to start snapping pictures of your impossibly amazing hair transformation!

…ok the photographer part is weird, but stay with us!

Our stylists were tired of telling clients that they need a few sessions to get the look they want, so we looked at what it takes to go from nothing (or some less than fabulous color) to some of the most amazing new looks trending right now! IT CAN BE DONE!!!

We created a service we’re calling “The Works” – It’s a full bespoke balayage, root melt/ or coverup, babylights, with some contouring color, an OLAPLEX treatment to keep your hair strong and healthy, a gorgeous cut and exceptional finishing style!

And because you’re going to be with us for a long time, it also includes a smoothie from PLANTBAR! Gotta keep your strength up while we beautify you!

The whole service takes about 5 hours and costs $460-$530, depending on the stylist. It’s a way to give yourself the exact, sparkling, gorgeous look you deserve.
